DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler is recalling 2005 model-year Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans to fix air bags that may fail to deploy because of corroded sensors, Bloomberg News reported today.

The recall includes as many as 270,958 minivans built from April 24, 2003, to Feb. 2, 2005, Chrysler told the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The move covers vehicles sold or registered in 20 states and Washington, D.C., that use large quantities of road salt.
